Merry Christmas!!!

I know that everyone checks this blog everyday hoping that there will be something new after 6 six months!! So for those of you who do Merry Christmas this is my present to you. :) Hope you all had a wonderful Christmas.

I love the excitement of Christmas time. Camren and Hailey were so cute. They could hardly wait for Christmas to come. Both tried multiple times to get an early start on opening their presents. Only to be scolded and then they would say "We aren't going to play with them we just want to look". :)

Christmas Eve we went to see santa who asked if we would leave him 2 cookies and a glass of milk so that he could keep his fat belly. Camren loves to bake and was all over that idea so we came home and made sugar cookies.(I think the only belly that is getting fat is mine) The girls were eager to go to bed. I was surprised that both fell asleep within 30 min. Hailey woke us up around 2am with a stomach ache and was up the rest of the night throwing up. She tried her best to be excited in the morning, but all she managed is a hug for her new doll and opened a few of her presents. Camren on the other hand was excited enough for the both of them. She had a wonderful time and was so excited that santa had left her a note thanking her for the cookies. Between helping Hailey and all of the other excitement I only managed to get one picture, but I think it sums up our Christmas.

Oh Baby!!!

Introducing:
Sadie

She is finally here and she is oh so cute!!! We even have a name for her. After going to the hospital in the morning for an induction and sitting in bed for 7 hrs the pitocin finally started to kick in. 2hrs later we met our little Sadie!!

Camren and Hailey just love their new sister. They couldn't believe how small she was. Camren loves to sing "twinkle twinkle little star" when she is crying. Hailey can't give her enough kisses. They both love to hold her and take pictures with her.

Going home outfit. Such a cutie!
Camren, Hailey, and Sadie I hope they always love each other this much.

Isn't she the cutest baby you've ever seen!! I think so.

So patriotic!

I love candy!
Hailey didn't quite get that you are supposed to pickup that candy
So good to see you smile!
Its to hard to wait! Don't look at the camera

Hailey came home from church with a crown made of stars to wear on the 4th of July. Camren insisted that she needed something for her hair to, so I told her we would go look for some hair things on Monday. On Monday she had decided that she would need a 4th of July dress and that we would need to get up extra early to go to the groomers for a hair trim!:) Luckily we found a 4th of July dress, but we didn't make it to the groomer.
We started out with a parade which the kids loved.(Of course because they got candy). Then we came home and the kids played in the sprinkler for the afternoon. A little before it got dark we went to the park and played and waited for the fireworks. What a fun day!

Zoo

Come here pretty bird!

The girls have always loved going to the zoo. Surprising, Hailey's favorite thing this time was the snakes! She loved looking at them. I think she could have look at them for most of the day. It was a good break for all of us.

Family Reunion

Take me back the shore
Little Mermaid
Some of the cousins

Because I was 35 week pregnant and in no mood to travel we were not going to be able to make it to the Cannon Family reunion. However, Thursday night I finally gave in to the other three. On Friday morning we were off on a 9 hour road trip!!! I think after 3 hours Chris was regretting the whole thing. I made him stop at least every 1 1/2 which made our trip at least that much longer.
Once we got to the reunion I think we all had a great time. Camren and Hailey enjoyed quality play time with the cousins.(Play time with people their own age in something they have been missing since the move). Chris and the girls had a great time playing in the lake and on the boat. Of course the food was great. We were all excited to see the family and enjoyed catching up. Thanks for a wonderful reunion!!

Turning 30!!!

Happy Birthday! We had a few people over for a BBQ. Chris bought his own present this year! He came home one day with a grill he had found at a yard sale. Guess you can't have a house without a grill!

Graduation!!!

We are so proud of Chris and all he has done for our family. He has worked so hard! After looking forward to graduation for four years it came with so many emotions. Of course we are so excited and looking forward to what the future has in store. But, we are also sad to leave this part of our lives behind. We will remember this time with mostly great memories. Even living in the colony!

So here it goes. I'm starting a blog! There are so many new things in our lives this seems like the easiest way to keep in touch. Since I'm terrible at e-mailing we'll see how this turns out. No promises!
